Everything you need to know about the Labour Day sales, as well as the best deals and discounts.
Although we may not celebrate Labour Day this side of the pond, we do benefit from some of the sales! The day is a federal holiday to celebrate the historic and present-day contributions of United States labourers. It sits on the first Monday of September, but the biggest deals will be available over the whole weekend.
Focus your efforts. This is the time to buy back-to-school supplies, end-of-summer clothes and luxury homeware whilst their prices are slashed. If you’re looking for a tech deal or cosy autumn comfies, you’re better off waiting until Black Friday.
Do your research. Since this is a relatively new sales period for the United Kingdom, businesses will be trying to lure you in with bogus discounts. Shop around before the sales start for anything you want and make a note of their RRP.
Start early. Collect all the discount codes you need and be ready to shop as soon as the sales start. Since these sales revolve around school supplies and end-of-season clothes, they’ll likely be out of your size/colour/style if you leave it too long!
